1. Campfire Breakfast Burritos
Ingredients:
- 4 tortillas
- 6 eggs, scrambled
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked sausage or bacon
- 1/4 cup salsa (optional)
Instructions:
Fill tortillas with eggs, cheese, and meat, wrap in foil, and heat over the campfire or on a grill for 5-10 minutes.
2. One-Pot Campfire Chili
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 can kidney beans, drained
- 1 can diced tomatoes
- 1 packet chili seasoning
- 1/2 cup chopped onions
Instructions:
Cook beef and onions in a large pot over the fire. Add beans, tomatoes, and seasoning, then simmer for 20 minutes.
3. Foil Packet Chicken and Vegetables
Ingredients:
- 2 chicken breasts, diced
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions:
Mix ingredients in foil packets and seal. Cook over campfire coals or on a grill for 20-25 minutes, flipping once.
4. Campfire Grilled Cheese
Ingredients:
- 4 slices of bread
- 4 slices cheese (cheddar or American)
- 2 tablespoons butter
Instructions:
Butter the outside of the bread, place cheese in between, and cook on a cast iron skillet over the fire until golden brown.
5. Sausage and Potato Skillet
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb smoked sausage, sliced
- 2 potatoes, diced
- 1 onion, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions:
Heat oil in a cast iron skillet over the fire, add sausage, potatoes, and onions, and cook until potatoes are tender.
6. Campfire Quesadillas
Ingredients:
- 4 tortillas
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup cooked chicken or beans
- 1/4 cup salsa (optional)
Instructions:
Fill tortillas with cheese and meat or beans, fold in half, and cook in a skillet or wrapped in foil over the fire for 5 minutes.
7. Hot Dog Crescent Rolls
Ingredients:
- 6 hot dogs
- 1 can crescent roll dough
Instructions:
Wrap crescent dough around hot dogs and cook on a grill grate or skewer over the fire for 10 minutes.
8. Campfire Pizza
Ingredients:
- 1 pre-made pizza crust
- 1/2 cup pizza sauce
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- Toppings of choice (pepperoni, veggies)
Instructions:
Spread sauce on the crust, add toppings, and cook on a grill over the fire until cheese melts.
9. Dutch Oven Mac and Cheese
Ingredients:
- 2 cups cooked pasta
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a Dutch oven and cook over the fire, stirring until cheese is melted.
10. Banana Boats
Ingredients:
- 2 bananas
- 1/4 cup chocolate chips
- 1/4 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions:
Slice bananas lengthwise, stuff with chocolate chips and marshmallows, wrap in foil, and cook over the fire for 5-10 minutes.
11. Campfire Pancakes
Ingredients:
- 1 cup pancake mix
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
- Maple syrup for serving
Instructions:
Mix pancake batter, pour onto a greased skillet over the fire, and cook until bubbles form. Flip and cook until golden brown.
12. Foil Packet Shrimp Boil
Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb shrimp, peeled
- 1 smoked sausage, sliced
- 1 ear of corn, cut into pieces
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
Instructions:
Combine all ingredients in a foil packet, seal, and cook over campfire coals for 15-20 minutes.
13. Campfire Grilled Steak and Veggies
Ingredients:
- 2 steaks
- 1 zucchini, sliced
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Season steak and grill over the fire for 5-7 minutes per side. Sauté vegetables in a pan over the fire or cook in foil packets.
14. Walking Tacos
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 packet taco seasoning
- Small bags of chips (Doritos or Fritos)
- Toppings: shredded cheese, lettuce, salsa
Instructions:
Cook ground beef with taco seasoning. Open chip bags, add meat and toppings, and eat with a fork.
15. Campfire Baked Potatoes
Ingredients:
- 2 large potatoes
- 1 tablespoon butter per potato
- Toppings: sour cream, cheese, bacon bits
Instructions:
Wrap potatoes in foil and place in campfire coals for 45-60 minutes. Slice open and add toppings.
16. Campfire Sloppy Joes
Ingredients:
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/2 cup ketchup
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
Instructions:
Cook beef in a skillet over the fire, add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, then serve on buns.
17. Campfire French Toast
Ingredients:
- 4 slices bread
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
Instructions:
Dip bread in egg mixture and cook in a skillet over the fire until golden brown. Serve with syrup or fruit.

21. Campfire Nachos
Ingredients:
- 1 bag tortilla chips
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 1/2 cup black beans
- 1/2 cup salsa

22. Campfire Hot Dog Skewers
Ingredients:
- 4 hot dogs

- 4 hoagie rolls
- 1/2 cup shredded cheese
Instructions:
Cook steak, peppers, and onions in a skillet over the fire, then load into hoagie rolls and top with cheese.

Ingredients:
- 1 can peach slices
- 1 cup yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter

- 4 ears of corn
- 4 tablespoons butter
